1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how DivorceReady ("DivorceReady," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our website, applications, tools, quizzes, checkout flows, partner portal, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

DivorceReady is a planning and organization platform. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information you provide

• Account details: name, email address, login credentials, and profile information.
• Quiz and planning inputs: answers to readiness quizzes, checklists, asset notes, co-parenting plans, goals, and other content you enter into the Service.
• Booking and contact details: name, email, phone number, preferred meeting times, messages, and other information you submit when requesting or booking a consultation with a Partner.
• Payment-related information: billing details processed by our payment providers (we do not store full card numbers on our own servers).
• Communications: emails, support requests, feedback, and related correspondence.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP.
• Cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies used for analytics, security, functionality, and marketing measurement.
• Attribution data from ads and landing pages, including UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers (for example Google, Meta, and TikTok click IDs), when present in the URL or otherwise provided by advertising platforms.

2.3 Information from service providers and partners

We may receive information from payment processors, email/CRM tools, authentication providers, hosting providers, advertising platforms, and Partners (for example booking status updates) as needed to operate the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• provide, operate, personalize, and improve the Service;
• create and manage accounts, plans, tools, and saved content;
• process purchases, fulfill paid features, and send transactional messages;
• facilitate Partner bookings and share the information you consent to share for that purpose;
• respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service;
• measure marketing performance, attribute conversions, and run advertising on platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok;
• detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use;
• analyze product usage in aggregated or de-identified form where appropriate.

4. When we share information — only with your consent (and limited exceptions)

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their independent marketing use without your consent.

4.1 Partner bookings (primary sharing scenario)

If you request a consultation, submit a booking, or otherwise ask to be connected with a Partner through DivorceReady, you consent to us sharing with that Partner the information needed to fulfill your request. That typically includes your name, email, phone number, preferred times, message content, and related booking details.

We share this information only because you initiated the booking/request and consented to contacting that Partner. Once shared, the Partner handles your information under their own privacy practices. DivorceReady is not responsible for how Partners use information after it has been shared with your consent.

If you do not want your information shared with a Partner, do not submit a booking or consultation request.

4.2 Service providers who process data for us

We use trusted vendors to operate the Service. They process personal information on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services to us. Examples include:

• hosting, databases, and authentication providers;
• payment processors (such as Stripe);
• email, CRM, and customer-communication tools;
• analytics and advertising measurement providers;
• customer support and infrastructure tools.

These processors are not permitted to use your information for their own unrelated purposes. Using vendors to run our Service is not the same as selling or freely sharing your data with third parties.

4.3 Legal, safety, and business transfers

We may disclose information without additional consent when we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

• comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
• protect the rights, safety, or property of DivorceReady, our users, or others;
• investigate fraud, security incidents, or Terms violations;
• complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to continued confidentiality commitments where required.

5. Marketing, cookies, and advertising tracking

We use tracking technologies for marketing, analytics, and advertising measurement. This helps us understand how people find DivorceReady, measure campaign performance, and improve our outreach.

Platforms we use include:

• Google (including Google Ads / Google tag / conversion and analytics technologies);
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram pixels, conversion APIs, and related advertising tools);
• TikTok (TikTok pixel / advertising and measurement tools).

These technologies may collect or receive information about your browser or device, pages you visit on our Service, events such as sign-ups or purchases, and advertising identifiers. Advertising partners may use this information, together with information they already hold, to provide measurement services and to deliver or limit ads on their platforms and partner sites.

Where required by law, we will obtain consent before placing non-essential cookies or similar trackers. You can also control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through advertising preference tools offered by Google, Meta, and TikTok. Blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality or measurement accuracy.

We may also store attribution parameters (such as UTM values and click IDs) so we can associate a later signup, purchase, or lead event with the campaign that brought you to DivorceReady.

6. Sensitive information and planning content

The Service may allow you to enter information related to finances, housing, children, communication, safety concerns, or other personal circumstances. Treat this content as sensitive. We use it to provide the planning tools you request and to operate the Service.

Do not upload information you are not comfortable storing in an online planning tool. We are not your attorney, and information you enter into DivorceReady is not protected by attorney-client privilege.

7. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, meet legal/accounting/reporting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for using a strong password.

9. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• correct inaccurate personal information;
• request deletion of personal information;
• request a copy or portability of certain information;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• opt out of sale/sharing of personal information for targeted advertising, where such concepts apply under local law;
• lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, email support@divorceready.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights available under applicable law.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails. Transactional and service messages (for example receipts or account notices) may still be sent as needed.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International users

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these locations as described in this Policy.

12. Do Not Track and similar signals

Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to these signals. Except where required by law or where we have implemented a specific preference mechanism, we do not alter our practices solely based on a Do Not Track signal. You can manage cookies and advertising preferences as described above.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as appropriate. Continued use of the Service after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
